Just a quick late night hello.
I've had a very wasteful day today, all the jobs I still have supplies to do I decided were to big to start today...Erm, let's see...painting a wall, a kitchen breakfast bar...Yeah too big!!!
I think I just needed an excuse to do nothing. In doing nothing, I mean I've been shopping for extra provisions for the salon. Guessing what we may need to adhere to government guidance, but also making a few changes that I think will become the "norm".
I have also been devising salon procedures to help us with COVID-19 recovery in the salon and maximising the safety of the treatments we WILL be delivering to you again soon.
I don't know when we will be opening again, but I will be tuning into the conference on Monday to see what Boris says.
There was a statement last week saying that I (businesses) will be given notification as to when we might reopen. I'm not holding my breath, however, the National Hairdressing Federation are working hard to get us noticed and to be given notice to prepare.
I do guarantee, I will be posting and blogging as soon as I know.
I have a priority list for clients that abruptly lost their appointments with the lock down. If you want to be on the list please message me; these appointments will be made before we physically return to the salon, but not before we know an opening date.
Keep an eye out on FaceBook for dates and procedures you will be asked to adhere to.
I'm now sick of the laptop and I have gin waiting to be drunk, so I will say good night for now and hope you are all well and staying safe.
