Stacey would soak up as much as she could from Ella, watching her cut, set, blowdry, colour and perm hair. She would go to Ella’s friends houses and help where she could; mix colours, wash up, get equipment out and put it away. She would help Ella perm her own hair and Ella would let Stacey take control of the shower; when she could reach it! Stacey was a good little apprentice to Ella and would often fall asleep waiting for the last client to be finished!
